Pregnant C57BL/6 dams were placed on either a vitamin A sufficient (Vit.A+) or vitamin A deficient (Vit.A-) diet at ten days of gestation. Dietary conditions were continued post-weaning and mice were sacrificed at 8 weeks of age. Terminal small intestines were isolated and epithelial cell-enriched single cell suspensions were isolated via EDTA stripping. Live cells were filtered and analyzed with scRNA-seq.
